Light Drag Frontend

I was wondering if anyone has considered using a light Drag racing frontend. Jegs, Summit racing, and many others offer ones.

It may be viable to start there.

Any thoughts?

Hmmm.. the Jegster strut front end kit would probably work, but it would look a little strange with the exposed shock/strut, and handling might suffer, as well. What manufacturer and part number are you thinking of?

You know....

Now that I give it more thought, I'll be happier with the looks if I do keep it an F1/Indy style shock configuration.

After some serious thought, I think this look is within my abilities.

Steve Batson's trike

If I was to widen it up by 12"-18", I might be able to get another seat in there, and still keep the look. It's tricky, though.

Yeah, you could probably keep the same swingarm length (almost), and use narrower tires - something more like the T-Rex, but with an IndyCycle body?

ACK!!

I'm trying to avoid a T-Rex look. However, if I do go with a side-by-side 2 seater, it will end up looking kinda like that. I could put an Indy style body on it, and it will still kinda look like a T-Rex.

I'll have to do some more drawings.
