It is a very involved modification to insert the 1300 into the frame, but worth the time and effort. The biggest advantage to the swap is that the wiring is just plug and play and speedometer requiring a new instrument panel to be made and the wiring harness does need to lengthen. If anyone wants photographs of the swap i can provide them. Just send me your email and what you would like to see about the swap. bede1026@aol.comnondisclosed_email@example.com (bede1026)Tue, 28 Feb 2023 10:54:02 +0000 Re: Speedometerhttps://bindycycleandthreewheelersforum.runboard.com/p98,from=rss#post98https://bindycycleandthreewheelersforum.runboard.com/p98,from=rss#post98Or you can go with a GPS speedometer and instrument cluster unit. Nice and compact, and no calibration with sprockets necessary!nondisclosed_email@example.com (indycyclebuilder)Fri, 15 Feb 2013 11:37:55 +0000 Re: Speedometerhttps://bindycycleandthreewheelersforum.runboard.com/p90,from=rss#post90https://bindycycleandthreewheelersforum.runboard.com/p90,from=rss#post90I found a speedometer at BikeBandit.com. Pn# 2905104 (PU-22010090) Koso DL-02S. You can program the number of magnets, and the cur. of the wheel.  I found the pickup cable to be to short. The cable ends I found at Digikey.com to extend the cable to around 110". I hope this helps, It took some reserch to find the cable ends. nondisclosed_email@example.com (bede1026)Thu, 10 Nov 2011 18:28:52 +0000 Re: Speedometerhttps://bindycycleandthreewheelersforum.runboard.com/p88,from=rss#post88https://bindycycleandthreewheelersforum.runboard.com/p88,from=rss#post88I am looking into this as well... but yes I remember reading about a sensor that can be mounted for the sprocket or wheel and then calibrated for upper and lower ranges.nondisclosed_email@example.com (IndyCycleFlorida)Wed, 07 Sep 2011 17:36:53 +0000 Speedometerhttps://bindycycleandthreewheelersforum.runboard.com/p87,from=rss#post87https://bindycycleandthreewheelersforum.runboard.com/p87,from=rss#post87I am a builder in Ohio, and was wondering if anyone has addressed or can tell me what speedometer one uses? Also how it works, sensors off the wheels or what.nondisclosed_email@example.com (bede1026)Sat, 12 Feb 2011 18:41:17 +0000
